Tony is now at home, resting comfortably but we ask that he not have any visitors until he gets some rest. The doctors have been able to control his headaches, a result of swelling, with steroids. He is in great spirits and has regained his appetite, along with his sense of humor.
Thank you to everyone who has emailed, texted, called or sent cards of encouragement and continuing to pray with us.

Tony, David and I and the kids are praying for you. Although I had a different form of cancer, I know it's not easy to take. I pray for an increase of faith for you and Patty and the kids. When we are weak, HE is strong. We can't rely on our own understanding, but we can rely on God's. HE is in control and for that we are thankful. Glad to hear your spirits are up. I pray they stay there. Keep your thoughts positive and just lean on our Lord.

ReplyDeleteHey Tony, seeing some great photos of you and your family. I miss your big warm smile that lights up the room. Looking forward to one of your big bear hugs and the way you always made me feel like family. Life sucks at times but you have such a positive way of dealing with issues that I am sure you have figured out this setback has provided time for you to spend with those you love the most. Kick this illness in the ass, as I have found a great new Italian restaurant for us to visit when you return to Chicago for any good reason. My best to you pal, you remain in my thoughts and prayers.
